Death/Dying Support Group

Sign up for our Death and Dying group so that  your children get the support they need during these devastating times.

This group offers the opportunity to meet with others who share similar experiences.  Children who join the group have experienced some type of loss in their lives.  It could be a parent, friend, grandparent or sibling.  Basically, the group is for any child who is grieving.  Often children feel that their situation is unique, that no one else feels the way they do.  Kidz Coaching provides opportunities for self-awareness, sharing with others, problem-solving, and better communication skills with families. 

This group allows children to grieve with peers their own age which helps them understand the process of grief.  The children can be in various stages, from those who experienced a loss five years ago as well as those who recently experienced a loss.  It is important for the children to feel a sense of belonging.  This group helps the children express themselves in a positive manner without being judged by others.  All of the children benefit from learning from each other.
